We discovered this brand new
mural while walking to this year's "Art
in the Park" event on a very blustery day
in early October, 2009. This is the sixth mural
by Connie Burnett-Ferraro in Boulder City. The
others are on the side of Edie's Flowers on
Nevada Way, across the street from the Back
Stop Bar on Avenue B, on the American Legion
Hall on California Street, on the Goatfeathers
Emporium building on Wyoming Street and above
the bar at the Boulder City Brewing company.
This last one features detailed scenes from
the construction of Hoover dam. Here's
an article in the Las Vegas Sun about the artist.
This is the second mural by
Burnett-Ferraro that we've featured on RTA.
